Monocrystalline Solar Panel

Category: infrastructure

A high-performance solar module constructed from single-crystal silicon wafers.

Monocrystalline cells are recognizable by their uniform dark black look. Because the silicon is grown as a continuous single crystal structure, electrons experience very little resistance moving through the material, giving these panels the highest efficiency ratings (often 20% to 23%+).

Common Examples

  • We specified high-efficiency monocrystalline panels for the tight roof space to maximize total system wattage output per square foot.
  • Monocrystalline panels maintain a better power performance profile under low-light and cloudy conditions than older alternatives.
