NM-B cable bundles insulated hot and neutral copper conductors alongside a bare ground wire inside a protective polyvinyl chloride outer jacket. It is rated exclusively for dry, indoor structural environments and is categorized by wire gauge (e.g., 14/2 or 12/3) to match specific breaker currents.
