AIO (All-in-One) Liquid Cooler
Category: infrastructure
A self-contained liquid cooling system that includes the radiator, pump, and tubes as one unit.
The AIO is the "simple liquid" choice. You don’t need to build pipes; you just screw it onto the CPU. It is highly effective and takes up less space than giant air coolers, but the pump inside can eventually fail over several years.
Common Examples
- We chose a 240mm AIO cooler for this build because it provides the thermal headroom of liquid cooling with a very simple, clean setup.
- An AIO is the perfect middle ground for builders who want the thermal efficiency of liquid cooling without the complexity of a custom loop.
