Irrigation Zone Loop

Category: infrastructure

An isolated circuit of sprinkler heads controlled by a single automated electromagnetic valve.

Water lines lack the pressure to pop up every sprinkler head on a property simultaneously. Planners break the property into distinct zones based on pressure availability and hydraulic flow capacity, running individual loops sequentially from the master manifold controller.

Common Examples

  • We isolated the sunny south lawn onto its own irrigation zone loop, separating it from the shady turf sections behind the building.
  • A faulty solenoid coil inside the master valve box prevented the third irrigation zone loop from initializing during the automated night run.
