An enclosed, movable connector bridge that extends from the terminal gate directly to the aircraft door.

The jet bridge protects passengers from the elements (rain, wind, snow) and provides a secure, controlled path from the sterile terminal area into the cabin. It connects to the aircraft door, allowing for safe boarding and deplaning.
