Cabin Attendant
Category: aviation
A crew member dedicated to passenger comfort, food and beverage service, and safety in the cabin.
On large private jets (like a Gulfstream or Global Express), a cabin attendant is standard. They manage the galley, ensure security protocols are met, and provide white-glove service. On smaller jets, the pilots often manage these duties themselves.
Common Examples
- The cabin attendant prepared a gourmet multi-course meal as we reached our cruising altitude over the Midwest.
- Cabin attendants are fully trained in emergency medical procedures and aircraft safety protocols, just like their commercial airline counterparts.
