Blue-Green Deployment

A release strategy where two identical production environments are used to deploy updates with zero downtime.

The "Blue" environment is live. You deploy the new code to "Green." Once Green is tested and perfect, you flip the load balancer switch. If Green crashes, you switch back to Blue instantly. It eliminates deployment-day fear.
