The total combined computational power currently securing the Bitcoin network.

Hash rate is measured in hashes per second (H/s). A higher hashrate indicates a more secure network, as it becomes exponentially more difficult for an attacker to successfully execute a double-spend or revert transactions. Miners compete to find valid hashes to earn the block reward.

  • Monitoring the global hashrate is essential for our sovereign security models, as a rapid drop can indicate network vulnerability or massive miner capitulation.
