Linear Shower Drain

Category: infrastructure

An elongated, narrow drainage channel that allows a shower floor to be sloped uniformly in a single flat plane.

Traditional circular drains require a complex "bowl-shaped" four-way slope floor layout, which limits tile choice to small mosaics. A linear drain allows for a clean, single-direction pitch, enabling designers to lay down large-format porcelain slabs across the shower floor seamlessly.

Common Examples

  • Specifying a linear shower drain at the back wall allowed us to continue the main bathroom’s large marble tiles directly into the wet zone.
  • Linear shower drains feature high flow-rate handling metrics, making them essential for high-volume multi-head luxury custom shower arrays.
